Poetry on Broadway

The PCPA Foundation has partnered with The Attic Institute to present: Poetry on Broadway – a free poetry series hosted by Portland'5. Five monthly poetry events will be presented September 2013 – May 2014 in the Antoinette Hatfield Hall Rotunda. Nationally renowned poets will read alongside local emerging poets in the greater Portland community and the Pacific NW.

Poets include MacArthur and Oregon Book Award winners or finalists, Guggenheim and NEA fellows, and the Oregon State Poet Laureate. This series features The Oregon Book Award Winner for Poetry, and Oregon Poet Laureate: Paulann Petersen.

February 24: Camille Dungy & Crystal Williams

May 19: Wendy Willis & Katrina Roberts

All shows begin at 8pm.

The Portland Center for the Performing Arts Foundation is dedicated to ensuring a strong cultural arts presence in the community by supporting Portland'5 Centers for the Arts through advocacy, fundraising and region-wide community outreach.
