Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall

Portland’s locally-grown orchestra since 1924 opens its 94th Season with Beethoven’s 5th in the historic Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. Under the direction of David Hattner, the concert will also feature PYP pianist Natalie Tan, winner of PYP’s 2016-17 Piano Competition performing Frederic Chopin’s delightful Concerto No. 2, written when he was barely 20 years old, and a perennial favorite by Antonín Dvořák.

PYP invites you to experience live symphonic music like never before, performed by the orchestra the Chicago Tribune calls “brilliant in all departments!”
