Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall

In a landmark collaboration with the Northwest Film Center, In Mulieribus, three PSU choirs, and All Classical Portland, Camerata PYP will perform Voices of Light, an oratorio by Richard Einhorn, to accompany a screening of Carl Dreyer’s The Passion of Joan of Arc. Savor the power and beauty of Einhorn’s imaginative musical accompaniment to Dreyer’s iconic 1928 silent film, screened as part of the Northwest Film Center‘s 34th Reel Music Festival.

Voices of Light features Camerata PYP with vocals by In Mulieribus, three Portland State University ensembles, Chamber Choir, Vox Femina, and Man Choir, and professional soloists. Official media sponsor All Classical Portland.

Portland Youth Philharmonic presents Voices of Light at the Portland'5 Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 7:30pm.
