Music on Main: Kenney Polson & Versie Jean
Kenney Polson, accomplished saxophonist and composer, is fluent in musical styles ranging from jazz, Latin, classical and new age to rhythm & blues, funk, and gospel. Kenney has worked with some of the most famous jazz musicians of Brazil, represented in his latest recording “Paradise.”
Genuine believability is the hallmark of Tiana “Versie Jean” White and her music. Her self-revealing compositions speak to a simplistic, yet profound storytelling process, reminiscent of the great songwriters of old. She takes you on a journey of self-discovery using uniquely melodic phrasing that is one, instructive, as well as inspiring encouragement to any and all seeking their way.
