Kalmar Conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 9

The May 16, 2022 concert, Kalmar Conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 9, has been canceled.

We regretfully announce that the Oregon Symphony must cancel tonight’s performance of Kalmar Conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 9 scheduled for May 16, 2022 at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Despite robust measures in place, positive COVID-19 tests were reported within the Oregon Symphony. In order to prioritize the health and safety of our patrons, musicians, and staff, May 16’s performance will not take place.

Please choose from the following ways you can use your tickets and email us at orsymphony@orsymphony.org:

  • Apply the value of your ticket(s) to another concert in the 2021/22 Season (either live/in-person or livestreamed concert) or toward a 2022/23 Season subscription
  • Donate your ticket(s) and receive a tax deduction for the total ticket value
  • Exchange your ticket(s) for an emailed gift certificate

For refunds, please call the Oregon Symphony Ticket Office at 503-228-1353 with the full name the tickets were purchased under and your customer number. The Oregon Symphony Ticket Office is open 1pm – 6pm concert Saturdays and Monday – Friday 10am – 6pm. The Oregon Symphony Ticket Office is closed on Sundays.

In order for the Oregon Symphony to expeditiously manage purchased tickets that are impacted by canceled concerts, ticketholders will have until August 15 to act (see options listed above) on any funds associated with the concert. After August 15, if no action has been taken, these funds will automatically convert to a tax-deductible donation. A receipt for this donation is available upon request by calling 503-228-1353 or emailing symphony@orsymphony.org.

We hope you will consider exchanging or donating the cost of your ticket(s). Donations now will help keep your Oregon Symphony strong throughout the 2021/22 Season and beyond.
