Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall

Spring Sunrise

As winter fades, let PYP lift your spirits with a program of heartwarming music. Feel the joy and charm of Lili Boulanger’s D’un matin de printemps as it fills the air with the promise of spring, a piece so special that PYP performs it for the first time in its 100-year history.

Bask in the uplifting and spiritual energy of Johannes Brahms’s Second Symphony. This timeless masterpiece, performed by PYP for the sixth time, will envelop you in its exceptional beauty and leave you feeling renewed and inspired as the last days of winter give way to the light of spring.

The orchestra will also perform Edward Elgar‘s Cello Concerto in E Minor, Op. 85 with the 2024 Concerto Competition Winner, Andy Shin.
