Respighi’s Pines of Rome

Ottorino Respighi’s Pines of Rome never fails to astonish with its vibrant portrayal of the city of Rome through music. Equally astonishing will be two of today’s most innovative soloists: Grammy-nominated flutist, vocalist, and composer Nathalie Joachim, performing songs that explore her own Haitian heritage, and Finnish violinist Pekka Kuusisto.

Respighi: Ancient Airs and Dances, Suite No. 3
Nathalie Joachim: Suite from Fanm d’Ayiti (World premiere arrangement)
Nico Muhly: Shrink (Violin Concerto No. 2)
Respighi: Pines of Rome
