HEADLINER NIA KALI

Nia Kali is a musician, songwriter, and lover of music based in Portland, Oregon. Captivated by her love for music at an early age, Nia spent her younger years cultivating her vocal abilities in a family of musicians and in the company of career instrumentalists. She began singing at the age of 3, studying the styles of Tramaine Hawkins, Whitney Houston, Jazmine Sullivan, and the like. As she grew in both stature and artistry, she honed her craft, studying classically under renowned choral director and vocal instructor, Dr. Lloyd Mallory. More recently, Nia has released music under her own name and assisted in realizing the musical visions of her friends Kwamé, Youngteam, Swarvy, Elxjh, and more. Her commitment to genre-blending and exploring new sounds and feelings motivates her to continue evolving as an artist.
