Jolly Wrapper - Lemme Talk To You (Official 360 Music Video)

Youth Night is a youth-led night takeover of a Portland'5 theater for ages 16-25. Our first Youth Night event will host six resource tables of local organizations, four youth art vendors, a one-hour beatmaking workshop by master artist Auvie Sinclair, and nine youth performers, including headliner Jolly Wrapper.

Auvie Sinclair

Auvie Sinclair is a creative artist in Portland primarily known for his music production. With many years of experience in making music, they’ve showcased their work through events such as Abeathappening, Thirsty City, Hungry Hungry Hip-Hop and many other beat focused nights in Portland. Auvie Sinclair’s art is inspired by all types of genres including hip-hop, experimental beats, funk, soul and more. On November 9th, through Portland’5, he invites viewers to explore with him an in-depth workshop on sampling in music production. You can find Auvie Sinclair’s work:

Jolly Wrapper

Jolly Wrapper, That’s “Wrapper” With A “W”! is a Portland-based musical performer, spoken word poet and visual artist. His work often draws inspiration from his experiences, interests, people, systems, and social injustices. Although not confined to any one particular genre of music, his most popular songs usually consist of Hip-Hop Rap and Bedroom-Pop.

He’s established in the local area both as an Portland Poet, and also as an up-and-coming artist in the Portland hip hop rap scene as well. He’s not only performed all over Portland, some of his most notable out of town performances were, Houston Texas, Las Vegas Nevada, and one of his biggest feats yet was being flown out by the Smithsonian Institution, located in Washington DC to give a musical performance for the launch of Open Access, the releasing of the Smithsonian’s digital archives to the public.

He enjoys metal detecting, collecting coins, polishing rocks, and his favorite snack is cilantro. Through art and self expression, he will change the world. Support him @jollywrapper
